STRESQ Lab Research Activities
The Research Laboratory of Intelligent Technologies, RES & Quality designs and implements in accordance with the provisions of Law 4485/2017 "Organization
and operation of higher education, regulations for research and other provisions" (Government Gazette 114 / v. A / 4.8.2017) and its Internal Regulations
(Government Gazette 1349 / v. B / 19.4.2019) research programs that fall into one of its thematic fields:

Intelligent Materials and Systems Technologies (Smart & Micro Grids),

Renewable Energy Sources (Solar, Wind, Wave, etc.),

Application of RES in Smart Grids,

Optimal integration of RES and distributed generation stations in Smart Grids

Power Converters with emphasis on the optimal integration of RES, electric cars and other sources and loads in smart grids and production processes,

Analysis of time series of meteorological data and production data of RES systems,

Quality of Electricity Supplied related to both RES and in general with the aim of optimizing the operation of systems and Energy Saving.

Intelligent e-learning / education systems, utilizing the same methods and approaches as above,

Design and Implementation of telemetry systems based on Embedded Systems and IoT technologies for optimization of RES energy production,
preventive maintenance of RES systems and building automation in order to save energy,

Design and Implementation of telemetry systems for Smart Grids using smart meters based on Integrated Systems, wireless communication technologies
and wireless sensor networks and development of implementation techniques of smart contracts and smart billing / micropayments based on Blockchain
technologies to enhance distributed energy production from Renewable Sources and Electric Cars V2G technology,

Design and Implementation of street lighting control systems based on IoT technologies and Integrated systems aimed at energy saving as well as BMS
applications for energy saving in buildings and the implementation of Virtual Power Plants.

Use of Applied Mathematics in Science and Technology-Systems Optimization.

Laplace and Fourier Transform problems as well as their solution through Computer.

Mathematical Modeling and Applications. Engineering simulation. (Systems of Differential Equations with Boundary Conditions).

Applications of Nonlinear Differential Equations in Physics (equations of strings and plates, their oscillations), in infinite dimension with the help of Sobolev
Generalized Spaces.

Solving equations with Hamiltonian notebooks or quadrons (Quaternions), with applications in Engineering, Animations, Computer Graphics etc.
